All our orders are shipped via Royal Mail 1st class Recorded Delivery. Our prices are set on weight and are calculated at the checkout. Dependant on weight, it may be possible to include accessories or multiple costumes on the same shipping fee.
Shipping price guide:
Small items (wigs) : Mainland UK - £2.99 / Europe - £8.99
STD size costume : Mainland UK - £4.99 / Europe - £13.99
Large costume : Mainland UK - £8.99 / Europe - £20.99
You must ensure that someone can sign for your delivery. Any orders that aren't signed for are normally returned to a local post office with a calling card left with instructions given. If no-one claims the parcel within the set time (normally 1 week), the item will be returned to us and we will refund the purchase fee minus a re-stocking fee.
4 Returns Policy
Before returning anything you must contact us and we will give you a Return Authorization Number (RAN). This number must be included with the returned items otherwise we will be unable to process them.
Include a copy of your email invoice with the goods and return in appropriate packaging.
We do not refund return shipping costs. It is your responsibility to return items to us and we recommend recorded delivery or Royal Mail special delivery. Chickenshop cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to goods whilst they are being returned.
Refunds will be made to the card that was used in the original purchase or a cheque made payable to the cardholder if the card is no longer valid. In the case of cheque payment, a cheque will be issued payable to the original customer. You must follow our instructions for returning goods (see below).
Please note that it is not possible to return items purchased from our website to our Chickenshop Store. You must follow our returns policy and return goods by post.
None of the above affects your statutory rights.
All orders sent from chickenshop.co.uk are sent via recorded delivery and therefore require a signature upon receipt. Normally a 2nd attempt will be made and/or a calling card will be left where you will be responsible to contact/collect your items. If you are unable to take delivery of the goods and they are returned to us, we will contact you and give confirmation of this. If this happens we will issue a refund for the cost of the order minus shipping charges, or if you would like the order sent back to you we will ask for an additional shipping fee. We may at our discretion charge an administration/restocking fee for items being returned to us in this case.
Due to the fact that we use recorded delivery and all parcels must be signed for we are unable to deliver parcels to PO boxes
